In Star Wars Episode 1: Obi Wan for the Game Boy Color, players assume the role of Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi who, along with Qui Gon Jin, has been sent to enter into negotiations with the Trade Federation Viceroys to end their blockade of the peaceful planet of Naboo. Due to darker motives from Lord Darth Sideous, the Galactic Republic is in turmoil. It is the playerís job to travel throughout Naboo encountering both friend and foe, rescue Queen Amidala, and travel to the desert planet Tatooine. With only a lightsaber, the Force, spare Gameboy batteries, to restore order to the Republic and defeat the evil Darth Maul.
